America, today, lacks a catalyst for improvement in Science and Technology. FIRST Robotics Competition provides young innovators and supports many eligible students to begin their dreams in Science or in Engineering. For nearly three decades, FIRST has inspired young builders to compete for recognition by imposing technology as the only option for success. FIRST has influenced many students around the world to emphasize their dedication towards the fields of Science and Engineering. It has continued to fulfill many passions for education and inventing by supporting students with a competitive and friendly atmosphere. Not only does the competition boost morale, it also provides fundamental support for college.

The Organization

FIRST has always been a strong support for student interest in technology. In the past, FIRST was limited to only citizens of the U.S. Today, it is open to students internationally and aids in keeping inspiration in many scholars. The competition that FIRST provides students is very enlightening. Teams start as an average of 25 students and can grow as much as 50 people. Teams provide friendly and competitive atmospheres that provide real challenges of technological life. Every year, FIRST presents new challenges to inspire creative and intelligent minds. Students seek mentors to evaluate success in trials and develop robots that continue to shape the future of technology.
